While most of Colorado is getting snow and still skiing, Western Colorado is having spring!! I have had my crocus bloom and now I have daffodils and Hyacinths blooming. This time of year is perfect of exploring the areas that are too hot, in the summer, to enjoy. This weekend we ventured out to southern Utah. We camped near White Canyon and explored the begining of Lake Powel, where Hite Marina used to be and hiked Farley Canyon. The weather was good. It was a bit chilly the first night of camping but we were prepared. This weekend our temperatures will be in the high 70's. The trees are just begining to get their leaves. This is why I love where I live. We will definately be setting a tee time for the weekend.
The real estate market is on a hot streak and it is a sellers market, this is true in a lot of places. That doesn't mean that every home is going way over asking price. At the lower price points (under $300,000) there is more competition. Interest rates are low and this is making it possible for first time home buyers to get in the game. As spring approaches more homes will come on the market and things should level out a bit. Go to julialinza.com to check home available in the area.
