Introduction to me and my world
Dated: February 10 2021
This is my very first Blog!! I hope I improve as I go. In my Blogs I want you to get to know me and about where I live. I have always lived in Colorado. I was born in Denver, raised in Aspen and have lived in Grand Junction since 1990. I love the outdoors. Camping, hiking and boating are some of my favorite activities. I also enjoy playing golf and working in my garden. I beleive that living in Western Colorado gives me so many options do the things I love. Our beautiful scenery makes you want to get out and explore and with our great weather you can enjoy year round acivities.
If when you think about Colorado and you picture ski towns and cabins in the mountains covered in snow you are only thinking of a portion of our state. Grand Junction is the largest city between Denver and Salt Lake City. A high desert climate, located along the Colorado River, Grand Junction and the surrounding areas are perfect for growing fruits like peaches, grapes, apples, apricots, cherries and many more. I grow lots of veggies in my garden like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, onions, carrots and zucchini.
Winters can be a bit cold but we do not receive large amounts of snow. For exaple today February 10, 2021 the temperture is supposed to be 53 degrees. It is cloudy and may rain a bit later. Summers are warm and we do break to 100 degree mark for a few days, but it is a dry heat. LOL.. Spring and fall are great beacause the temperature is perfect!!
As this Blog continues I will share with you my favorite places and views or my little town. Please stay tuned and check in with me.
